(1)
During the plan review process, an electrical contractor may request a complete
or partial permit before the entire plans and specifications are submitted or
approved, if adequate information is provided showing compliance with pertinent
portions of the code. The permittee proceeds at his or her own risk, without
assurance that the permit for the entire installation will be granted, or that
corrections will not be required, including those portions permitted. The
partial permit shall allow the electrical contractor to proceed with work
pertaining to the electrical system of the structure.
(2) Any inspections performed by the local
jurisdiction on the site or of the ground work shall be counted toward the
number of electrical inspections allowed by the full permit once plan review is
complete and the permit is issued.
