Or. Admin. Code § 629-029-0045 - Pre-Bid Conferences
(1)
Purpose. The STATE may hold pre-bid conferences with prospective bidders, prior
to the date and time set for solicitation closing, to explain contract
requirements or to conduct site inspections.
(2) Required attendance. As a condition for
bidding the STATE may require attendance at the pre-bid conference. When
applicable, this requirement shall be contained on the Notice of Timber
Sale.
(3) Scheduled time. The
pre-bid conference shall be held within a reasonable time after the
solicitation documents have been issued, but sufficiently before the bid
opening date to allow consideration by bidders of the conference results in
preparing bids.
(4) Statements not
binding. Statements made by the STATE at the pre-bid conference are not binding
upon the STATE unless confirmed by written changes in a revised Notice of
Timber Sale or by written addendum.
