S.D. Admin. R. 20:09:03:03 - Appeal to board
If the executive director upholds the denial, the applicant may appeal the decision by submitting a written outline of the applicant's case to the chairman of the board to be considered at the next meeting scheduled after receipt of the outline or by submitting a written request to the executive director for an opportunity to appear before the board during its next meeting scheduled after receipt of the written request. If the applicant wishes to appear before the board, the executive director shall notify the applicant in writing at least five calendar days before the scheduled board meeting of the time, date, and place of the meeting. In either case, the applicant shall be informed in writing of the board's decision and the reasons for it within ten working days after the board meeting.
