S.D. Admin. R. 20:18:15:18 - The pickup

At the conclusion of a round of play, all cards on the layout must be picked up by the dealer in such a manner that they can be readily arranged to indicate each player's hand in case of question or dispute. When the value of a player's cards exceeds 21, that player's cards shall be revealed and placed in the discard rack.
