S.D. Admin. R. 20:18:18:05 - Certification by manufacturer

After completing an evaluation of a new slot machine, the laboratory must send a report of its evaluation to the applicant seeking approval of the slot machine and to the executive secretary. The report must include an explanation of the manner in which the slot machine operates. The report may not include a recommendation that the slot machine be approved. The applicant must return the report within 15 working days and must certify under penalty of perjury that to the best of the applicant's knowledge the explanation is correct, or the applicant must make corrections, clarifications, or additions to the report and certify under penalty of perjury that to the best of the applicant's knowledge the explanation of the machine is correct as amended.

The executive secretary may order additional evaluation and a field test of the new slot machine not to exceed 60 days if the executive secretary determines, based upon the applicant's certification, that the additional evaluation is necessary.
