S.D. Admin. R. 20:43:09:15 - Intravenous line
A dental hygienist, registered dental assistant, or dental assistant may start an intravenous line if he or she has met the following requirements:
(1) Taken a board
approved anesthesia assisting course; and
(2) Received intravenous line
training.
