S.D. Admin. R. 55:09:04:03 - Minimum charge for sick leave
If an appointing authority arranges a replacement worker or employs a temporary worker due to an employee's absence, the appointing authority may require a minimum charge of up to four hours of sick leave for the employee's absence.
