S.D. Admin. R. 61:15:01:17 - Egress requirements

Exits for new hotels, motels, multifamily residences which house six or more families, and congregate residences shall be as specified in chapter 10 of the International Building Code, 2015 edition. Access to and egress from buildings required to be accessible to persons with disabilities shall be provided as specified in chapter 11 of the International Building Code, 2015 edition. Emergency escape and rescue openings shall be provided as specified in section 1030 of the International Building Code, 2015 edition.
