S.D. Admin. R. 67:42:05:01 - Definitions

Terms used in this chapter mean:

(1) "Family foster home," a family home that provides regular full-time care, maintenance, supervision, and protection of a child as a substitute for regular parental care without a transfer of legal custody and meets the requirements of 67:42:05:24.

(2) "Child placement agency," the department or an agency or institution as defined in SDCL 26-6-14(4) and subject to the regulatory requirements of chapter 67:42:09; and

(3) "Single family home," personal living space for one family unit which may include either a stand-alone dwelling or one unit in a multiple-unit dwelling.
