S.D. Admin. R. 67:42:07:16 - Facility procedures for handling suspected in-house child abuse
The facility shall have written procedures for handling suspected in-house child abuse. The procedures must include at least the following:
(1) A procedure for
ensuring that the alleged incident could not recur while awaiting the official
investigation by the department or law enforcement;
(2) A procedure for evaluating the continued
employability of any staff member determined to be involved in an incident of
child abuse.
