S.D. Admin. R. 44:05:04:12.01 - Cardiac equipment

Current through Register Vol. 48, page 106, April 11, 2022

One The following cardiac equipment approved by the Food and Drug Administration and maintained in good working condition must be available on all ground ambulances:

(1) An automated external defibrillator (AED) with pediatric capabilities including child-sized pads and cables or a dose attenuator with adult pads: or
(2) A manual monitor defibrillator used by appropriately trained personnel.
