Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 0880-03-.10 - RANGE OF SERVICES / SUPERVISION
(1) The range of
services which may be provided by a physician assistant shall be set forth in a
written protocol, jointly developed and signed by the physician assistant and
the supervising physician and maintained at the physician assistant's practice
location.
(2) A physician assistant
is authorized to perform the services outlined in his or her protocol under the
supervision of a supervising physician who complies with all the requirements
of 0880-02-.18.
(3) Each physician
assistant shall have a designated primary supervising physician and shall
notify the Committee of the name, address, and license number of his/her
primary supervising physician and shall notify the Committee of any change in
such primary supervising physician within fifteen (15) days of the
change.
