Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 1360-02-01-.03 - STATE ELECTION CODE GOVERNS

The Election Code of the State of Tennessee as embodied in Chapter 740, Public Acts of the General Assembly of Tennessee, 1972 (Title 2, Tennessee Code Annotated), as amended, shall govern all elections conducted with the use of punch card voting devices and ballots except as otherwise necessarily modified by these regulations; provided, however, that the ballots herein provided for are not and shall not be construed to be, 'paper ballots' as that term is used in Title 2, Chapter 1-20, as amended, and the provisions of said Title with respect to paper ballots shall not apply to ballots covered by these regulations except as herein expressly provided otherwise.
