The Code of Academic Conduct establishes and provides a
system for the enforcement of minimum standards of integrity, fairness, equal
opportunity, and professionalism in the conduct of academic pursuits at The
University of Tennessee College of Law. As with the American Bar Association's
"Code of Professional Responsibility," the touchstone of our system is self
regulation. The policy of self regulation underlying the Code of Academic
Conduct demands the cooperation of each member of the Law School community. All
work should be done in full compliance with both the spirit and letter of the
Code.
