12 Va. Admin. Code § 5-421-2570 - Approved sewage disposal system

Sewage shall be disposed through an approved facility that is:

1. A public sewage treatment plant;^P or

2. An individual sewage disposal system that is sized, constructed, maintained, and operated according to the State Board of Health's regulations promulgated pursuant to Chapter 6 (§ 32.1-163 et seq.) of Title 32 of the Code of Virginia, including 12VAC5-610, Sewage Handling and Disposal Regulations, 12VAC5-613, Regulations for Alternative Onsite Sewage Systems, or otherwise according to law.^P
