12 Va. Admin. Code § 5-481-980 - General provisions
A.
Licensees shall (i) use the units curie, rad, rem, and roentgen, including
multiples and subdivisions, and may include the International System of Units
(SI) units (Becquerel, gray, sievert, and coulomb per kilogram) and (ii)
clearly indicate the units of all quantities on records required by this
part.
B. Notwithstanding the
requirements of subsection A of this section, when recording information on
shipment manifests as required in
12VAC5-481-960
B, information shall be recorded in SI units or in SI units and units as
specified in subsection A of this section.
C. The licensee shall make a clear
distinction among the quantities entered on the records required by this part
(e.g., total effective dose equivalent, shallow dose equivalent, lens dose
equivalent, deep dose equivalent, and committed dose equivalent).
