12 Va. Admin. Code § 5-71-110 - Reporting to the commissioner
A. Physicians, midwives, public health nurses
and other nurses who receive newborn dried-blood-spot screening test results,
and administrators of hospitals in the Commonwealth shall make or cause to be
made a report to the commissioner of a person under the age of two diagnosed as
having a heritable disorder or genetic disease for which newborn
dried-blood-spot screening tests are conducted.
B. The diagnosed cases shall be reported in
accordance with §
32.1-69.1 of the Code of
Virginia.
