16 Va. Admin. Code § 30-80-100 - Assessments
A. All
self-insurers, public and private, shall be subject to assessments for the
commission's Administrative Fund (Chapter 10 of Title 65.2 of the Code of
Virginia), the Second Injury Fund (Chapter 11 of Title 65.2), the Uninsured
Employer's Fund (Chapter 12 of Title 65.2), and such other funds or expenses as
may be required by future legislation or commission regulation.
B. Self-insurers' assessments shall be
calculated by the commission each year based on manual insurance rates for the
same or similar work.
C. Failure to
provide the amounts assessed within 60 days of notice of the amount of the
assessment shall be grounds for termination of the privilege of
self-insurance.
