Wash. Admin. Code § 110-148-1510 - What requirements do I need to follow when I transport children?
When you transport children in your care you must follow these requirements:
(1) The vehicle
must be kept in a safe operating condition;
(2) The driver must have a valid driver's
license;
(3) The driver or owner of
the vehicle must be covered under an automobile liability insurance policy and
have proof of registration;
(4) The
vehicle must be equipped with seat belts, car seats and booster seats, and
other appropriate safety devices for all passengers required by law;
(5) The number of passengers must not exceed
the vehicle's seat belts; and
(6)
Each person in the vehicle must use an individual seat belt or approved child
passenger restraint system whenever the vehicle is in motion, and follow the
law regarding placement of children in vehicles.
