Wash. Admin. Code § 181-01-004 - Case-by-case exception process for basic skills assessment

(1) The Washington professional educator standards board may permit exceptions from the basic skills assessment require-ment under RCW 28A.410.220(1) and (4) on a case-by-case basis.

(2) Consistent with the discretion accorded to the professional educator standards board under RCW 28A.410.-220(4), the alternative assessments, equivalent assessments, exemptions and extensions provided for under chapter 181-01 WAC are the sole exceptions to the WEST-B assessment requirements.
