Wash. Admin. Code § 181-97-080 - Award

The Washington award for excellence in teacher preparation shall include:

(1) A certificate presented by the governor, the chair of the professional educator standards board, and the superintendent of public instruction at a public ceremony; and
(2)
(a) A grant which shall not exceed two thousand five hundred dollars to the professional education advisory board of the institution from which the teacher educator is selected.
(b) The professional education advisory board must submit the grant application within one year after the award is received by the recognized recipient. The grant application shall identify the educational purpose toward which the grant will be used and shall be awarded by the superintendent of public instruction after the professional educator standards board has approved the application.
