Wash. Admin. Code § 296-126-204 - Minimum wage
Except as otherwise provided by chapter 49.46 RCW:
(1) The minimum wage for kitchen helpers
working in excess of 27 hours per week, camp cooks, and all employees other
than counselor staff, shall be no less than $2.00 per hour for employees 18
years of age or older, and no less than $1.75 for employees under age
18.
(2) Minimum wage rates for
counselor staff occupations shall be as follows:

The minimum daily wage rate for resident or nonresident counselor staff shall
be prorated from the six-day basis.
(4) Minimum wage provisions shall not apply
to resident campers under the age of 18 who are engaged in an in-training
program, which provides prepared instructions and supervision by qualified
counselor staff, and which requires no more than 24 on-duty hours weekly. Such
resident campers shall (a) carry no responsibility for other campers and no
bunk responsibility, except as a defined part of the training program and (b)
shall not enter such a program unless their parents or guardians sign an
authorization, which includes an outline of the program and a description of
the duties and responsibilities involved.
