Wash. Admin. Code § 296-31-085 - Can out-of-state providers bill the department?
(1) Providers of mental health diagnostic and
treatment services located outside the state of Washington:
(a) May bill us for services that we allow
and are authorized by the crime victims compensation program mental health
treatment rules;
(b) Must bill us
according to the provisions of this chapter;
(c) Must bill their usual and customary fees;
and
(d) Will be paid according to
the Washington state crime victims compensation program mental health treatment
rules and fees.
Exception: Hospitals located outside the state of Washington are paid according to WAC 296-30-081.
(2) Independent medical or mental
health examinations must be billed and will be paid according to the examiner's
usual and customary fee.
