Wash. Admin. Code § 314-55-200 - How will the WSLCB identify cannabis, useable cannabis, cannabis concentrates, and cannabis-infused products during checks of licensed businesses?

Officers shall identify cannabis, useable cannabis, cannabis concentrates, and cannabis-infused products during on-site inspections of licensed producers, processors, and retailers of cannabis by means of product in the traceability system, and/or by observation based on training and experience. Products that are undetermined to be cannabis, useable cannabis, and cannabis-infused products will be verified by the following:

(1) Officers may take a sample large enough for testing purposes;
(2) Field test kits may be used if available and appropriate for the type of product being verified; and
(3) Those samples not able to be tested with a field test kit may be tested through the Washington state toxicology or crime lab.
