Wash. Admin. Code § 415-104-3302 - Performance bonuses are not LEOFF Plan I basic salary

Payments to a member for meeting or exceeding performance goals set by the employer are not attached to a position and are not basic salary.

Example:

An employer offers an annual bonus to members who do not have an accident for a year. The bonus is not part of the basic monthly rate of salary and is not basic salary for LEOFF Plan I.
