Wash. Admin. Code § 458-14-160 - Continuances - Ex parte contact
(1) Extensions of time, other than the time
for filing petitions, continuances, and adjournments may be ordered by the
board on its own motion or may be granted by it, in its discretion, on motion
of any party showing good and sufficient cause therefor. For a waiver of the
time limit in which to file the petition, see WAC
458-14-056(3).
(2) No one shall make or attempt to make any
ex parte contact with board members except upon notice and opportunity for all
parties to be present or to the extent required for the disposition of ex parte
matters as authorized by law. No board member shall make or attempt to make any
ex parte contact with any person regarding any issue in the proceeding, without
notice and opportunity for all parties to participate, unless necessary to
procedural aspects of maintaining an orderly process.
