Wash. Admin. Code § 478-117-110 - Display of permits
(1) Visual permits
shall be prominently displayed in accordance with the instructions printed on
the permit and shall be fully visible from the exterior of the vehicle. Virtual
permits are associated with a vehicle's license plate, and accordingly, a
vehicle associated with a virtual permit must have its license plate exposed to
the lane of travel and be clearly visible, unobstructed, and able to be read by
the LPR equipment.
(2) Instructions
relating to the display and assignment of a permit to a vehicle(s) will be
provided by commuter services at the time of issuance and are located on the
commuter services web site.
(3)
Motorcycle and scooter permits shall be registered with commuter
services.
(4) Commuter services may
authorize certain designated virtual permit holders to use a vehicle's license
plate as a permit. Certain designated virtual permits may require the
completion of a permit registration process. Virtual permit instructions will
be provided at the time of permit issuance.
