Wash. Admin. Code § 495D-122-020 - Notification
(1) Upon receiving
a request for services where there is an outstanding debt due to the college
from the requesting person, the college shall notify the person initially in
person or by first-class mail that the services will not be provided since
there is an outstanding debt due. Any initial in-person notification should be
followed by written notification by first class mail, except where the debt is
cleared upon in-person notification. The person shall be told that until the
debt is satisfied, requested services will not be provided.
(2) A letter of notification shall state that
the person has a right to a brief adjudicative proceeding before a person
designated by the president of the college. The proceeding must be requested
within twenty days of the date of mailing notification of refusal to provide
services.
