W. Va. Code R. § 171-3-2 - Civil Air Patrol Expenses; Commission May Expend Funds Pursuant To Rules
2.1. The
Commission, in addition to all other powers and functions authorized by law, is
hereby authorized and empowered to expend state funds (1) for the purchase of
Civil Air Patrol aviation education training aid books, materials and
equipment; (2) to defray maintenance, repair and replacement costs of Civil Air
Patrol aircraft; (3) to purchase and obtain supplies and equipment for the
Civil Air Patrol; and (4) to maintain the communications network for the Civil
Air Patrol.
2.2. No expenditure of
state funds for any such purposes may be made unless the purchase order is
first approved by the Commission in accordance with Commission's Rules and
Regulations relating thereto. Only funds specifically appropriated by the
Legislature for such purposes may be so expended by the Commission and funds so
appropriated shall be expended for no other purposes.
