W. Va. Code R. § 64-21-12 - Garbage and Refuse Disposal
12.1. All garbage and refuse shall be stored
in approved watertight and vermin-proof containers.
12.2. When not in constant use, garbage and
refuse containers shall be covered with tight-fitting lids.
12.3. Garbage and refuse shall be removed
from the premises weekly, or more often, if necessary.
12.4. Except for family day care facilities,
a concrete platform or a metal rack is required for outside storage of garbage
and refuse containers.
12.5.
Garbage and refuse containers shall be cleaned after each emptying.
12.6. If garbage and refuse container
cleaning operations are conducted outside, then a frost-proof hose bibb shall
be provided.
