W. Va. Code R. § 64-46-1 - General
1.1. Scope. -- This
legislative rule establishes the design standards for the installation of water
wells, pumps and pumping equipment to protect public health and groundwater
aquifers from contamination and pollution.
1.2. Authority. -- W. Va. Code §§

16-1-9
and
16-1-9a.
1.3. Filing Date. -- April 2, 2008.
1.4. Effective Date. -- April 2,
2008.
1.5. Repeal of Former Rule --
This rule repeals and replaces West Virginia Department of Health's
Interpretive Rule, Water Well Design Standards, 64CSR46, 1984.
