W. Va. Code R. § 91-2-4 - Receipt Showing Payment of Personal Property Taxes On All Motor Vehicles
4.1. The receipt
required by Chapter 17A, Article 3, Section 3a of the Code of West Virginia,
1931, as amended, to be furnished to each taxpayer (the applicant for a
certificate of registration, renewal of registration, or registration or
license plates) by the officer to whom payment of all personal property taxes
was made shall contain the name and complete address, including county of the
taxpayer, and the make, year model and serial number of all vehicles owned by
such taxpayer on the pertinent date of assessment, and such receipt shall show
payment of all personal property taxes on all such vehicles.
