Wis. Admin. Code Department of Administration § Adm 93.19 - Blight elimination and brownfield site redevelopment program
Current through March 28, 2022
(1) The department
may make a grant to an eligible local government for a blighted or brownfield
site redevelopment project after the department considers some or all of the
following:
(a) Whether the project is
intended to address the national objective of preventing or eliminating slums
or blight set forth in
24 CFR
570.483(c) and s.
Adm
93.04.
(b)
The extent of poverty and unemployment and other economic factors in the area
of the project.
(c) The prospects
for new investment and economic development in the area.
(d) The amount of investment that is likely
to result from the project.
(e) The
likelihood that the project will result in the creation or retention of
full-time jobs in the area.
(f) The
amount of estimated tax base to be created at project completion.
(g) The likelihood that the proposed activity
will commence shortly after receipt of the grant.
