Wis. Admin. Code Department of Natural Resources § NR 230.004 - Compliance dates
Current through March 28, 2022
(1) Any existing source subject to this
chapter which discharges to waters of the state shall achieve:
(a) The effluent limitations representing BPT
by July 1, 1977; and
(b) The
effluent limitations representing BAT by July 1, 1984.
(2) Any new source subject to this chapter
which discharges to waters of the state shall achieve NSPS at the commencement
of discharge.
(3) Any existing
source subject to the aluminum chloride, aluminum sulfate, potassium
dichromate, ferric chloride, lead monoxide, silver nitrate, or sodium fluoride
subcategory which discharges process wastewater pollutants to a POTW shall
achieve PSES by July 20, 1980.
(4)
Any existing source subject to the copper salts, nickel salts, cadmium pigments
and salts, cobalt salts, or zinc chloride subcategory which discharges process
wastewater pollutants to a POTW shall achieve PSES by August 22, 1987, except
for discharges from copper sulfate and nickel sulfate manufacturing
operations.
(5) Any existing source
not subject to sub. (3) or (4) which discharges process wastewater pollutants
to a POTW shall achieve PSES by June 29, 1985.
(6) Any new source subject to this chapter
which introduces process wastewater pollutants into a POTW shall achieve PSNS
at the commencement of discharge.
