Wis. Admin. Code Department of Corrections DOC 303.42 - Possession or use of money or negotiable instruments
Except as specifically authorized, any inmate who has in the inmate's possession or who uses any of the following is guilty of possession or use of money or negotiable instruments:
(1) Coins or paper money.
(2) A check.
(3) A money order.
(4) A savings bond.
(5) A credit card, debit card, gift card,
phone card, or information allowing access to or use of the cards or
accounts.
(6) Any other negotiable
instrument.
