This subchapter applies to the Department of Corrections in carrying out its statutory responsibilities to regulate juvenile detention facilities, and to the Department of Children and Families to the extent DCF has authority pursuant to s. 938.485, Stats., or any other provision of ch. 938, Stats., to establish and enforce standards for services to juveniles.
