A conclusion is the final part of a speech or writing; the closing. A conclusion is also a judgment or an inference made as the result of reasoning; a statement that logically or inevitably follows from a set of statements or propositions; a deduction.

A conclusion of law is the application of laws to a specific set of facts.

A conclusion of fact is a result of reasoning from evidentiary facts; a finding of fact.
