(9) Levee system The term “levee system” means 1 or more levee segments, including all levee features that are interconnected and necessary to ensure protection of the associated leveed areas— (A) that collectively provide flood damage reduction to a defined area; and (B) the failure of 1 of which may result in the failure of the entire system.
