The words “authorized by sections
21f and
21h, respectively, of this title” are omitted as surplusage. The word “grade” is substituted for the word “rank”. The words “but the Secretary shall not assign to the Judge Advocate General’s Corps any officer who has been appointed and commissioned in some other special branch or in the Regular Army without specification of branch” are omitted as covered by section
3064 of this title.
