L. 88–428, § 1(9), 78 Stat. 437, provided for income tax deferment for certain persons in Government service not in position to pay taxes because of service. Section 1014, acts Mar. 7, 1942, ch. 166, § 14, 56 Stat. 147; Apr. 4, 1953, ch. 17, § 1(e), 67 Stat. 21, related to application of the Missing Persons Act to persons besieged by a hostile force.
