1998—Pub. L. 105–220, § 307(2), which directed the substitution of “Secretary” for “Director”, was executed by making the substitution for “director” to reflect the probable intent of Congress.

1982—Subsec. (a). Pub. L. 97–300inserted provision that nothing in this section should be construed to prohibit the Governor from carrying out functions of the State advisory council through the State job training coordinating council in accordance with section
1532(c) of this title.
