Short Title

Section 1 ofPub. L. 91–518, as amended by Pub. L. 93–496, § 12,Oct. 28, 1974, 88 Stat. 1531, provided that Pub. L. 91–518(enacting this chapter and section 250 of Title 26, Internal Revenue Code, amending section 856 of former Title 31, Money and Finance, and enacting provision set out as a note under section 250 of Title 26) could be cited as the “Rail Passenger Service Act”, prior to repeal by Pub. L. 103–272, § 7(b),July 5, 1994, 108 Stat. 1379.

An empty field implies a standard amendment.
"new" means a new section or new note, or all new text of an existing section or note.
"nt" means note.
"nt [tbl]" means note [table].
"prec" means preceding.
"fr" means a transfer from another section.
"to" means a transfer to another section.
"omitted" means the section is omitted.
"repealed" means the section is repealed.
"nt ed change" and "ed change" - See the Editorial Classification Change Table [pdf].
