Title 40 published on 09-Jun-2018 05:24
The following are ALL rules, proposed rules, and notices (chronologically) published in the Federal Register relating to 40 CFR Part 1 after this date.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or the Agency) is issuing this final rule to change the name of the Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER) to the Office of Land and Emergency Management (OLEM). This action is being taken to more accurately reflect the nature of the work that this office does to protect human health and the environment. In addition, technical corrections are made to more accurately state the laws implemented previously by OSWER (now OLEM), and to reflect prior organizational changes.
EPA is amending its regulations to reflect a change in address for EPA's Region 7 office. This action is editorial in nature and is intended to provide accuracy and clarity to the Agency's regulations.
This document contains minor amendments to regulations under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide (FIFRA), and Rodenticide Act, the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), and the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). These amendments will make EPA's regulations more accurate and user friendly with regard to the name of the EPA office that administers these statutes and various Agency addresses.
