Ala. Admin. Code r. 870-X-4-.03 - Late Renewal
(1) Failure to pay the
renewal fee prior to January 1 following issuance or renewal will not deprive the
licensee of the right to renew, but prohibits that individual from continuing to provide
speech-language pathology and/or audiology services unless in an exempt situation. The
individual will be subject to mandatory continuing education audit, and a late renewal
penalty if the renewal fee is received after January 31. Any renewal fee paid after
January 31 will be increased by $20.00 for each month or fraction thereof that the
payment is late up to a maximum of twice the current renewal fee.
(2) All licensees failing to respond to the second
renewal notice by March 31 shall be placed on a delinquent list by the executive
secretary and referred to the Credentials Review and Enforcement Committee.
