11 AAC 71.020 - Notice of sale
(a) The division will give public notice of a
competitive sale of timber or material in accordance with
AS
38.05.945. Public notice given under this
subsection will state
(1) the minimum
acceptable bid, if applicable;
(2)
the method of bidding;
(3) the time
and place of sale;
(4) the amount
of deposit required;
(5) whether
additional information is available at division offices;
(6) the duration of the contract;
(7) that the state reserves the right to
reject any or all bids and that, unless all bids are rejected, the sale will be
awarded to the responsible qualified bidder offering the highest total bid
value for timber and the highest unit price for material; and
(8) the amount of any bond
required.
(b) The
division will, in its discretion, make a negotiated sale of 500 M.B.M. or less
of timber or 25,000 cubic yards or less of material without giving public
notice of the sale.
(c) The
division will give public notice of a negotiated timber sale authorized by
AS
38.05.118 in accordance with
AS
38.05.945.
(d) The division will, in its discretion,
make a negotiated sale of timber or material authorized by
AS
38.05.810(a) without giving
public notice of the sale in accordance with
AS
38.05.945.
