11 AAC 71.035 - Application for negotiated sales
(a) A person
seeking to negotiate the purchase of more than 10 M.B.M. of timber or more than
200 cubic yards of material must file an application at the regional office of
the division nearest the desired purchase site on a form provided by the
department. The applicant must file a separate application for each sale. The
application fee, if any, prescribed by
11 AAC 05.080 or
11 AAC 05.130 must accompany the
application. The application must contain the contract numbers of each timber
or material contract the applicant has entered into with the state during the
previous 12 months. The applicant need not list the applicant's log salvage
licenses. For negotiated sales, the division will consider the subsidiaries,
divisions, branches, partnerships, or joint ventures of the applicant to be the
same applicant.
(b) A person who
seeks to salvage unbranded or abandoned timber must apply for a log salvage
license in accordance with
11 AAC 71.405.
