12 AAC 40.040 - Recognized hospital

For the purpose of AS 08.64.200(a)(2), a recognized hospital is one that has a postgraduate training program located in the United State or its territories, or in Canada, and that has been approved for internship or residency training by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
