18 AAC 75.405 - Pre-application notification and consultation for oil discharge prevention and contingency plans; new plans and plan renewals
(a) At least 60
days before the scheduled submission date for an application package for
approval of a new oil discharge prevention and contingency plan under
18 AAC 75.410 or for renewal of
approval under
18 AAC 75.420, the applicant must
notify the department in writing of its intent to submit an
application.
(b) The applicant must
consult with the department at least 30 days before the scheduled submission
date for the application package to ensure that the application meets the
requirements of
18 AAC 75.408 and the requirements
of 18 AAC 75.410 or
18 AAC 75.420, to discuss the
contents of the proposed plan, and to discuss the review process under
18 AAC 75.455.
(c) Pre-application notification and
consultation is not required for a streamlined plan application submitted under
18 AAC 75.421.
(d) Upon satisfying the requirements under
(a) and (b) of this section, the application package may be submitted to the
department without waiting the 60 days specified in (a) of this section and
without waiting the 30 days specified in (b) of this section.
