2 AAC 90.425 - Alcohol awareness testing

(a) In order to renew a driver's license under this chapter, an applicant who is under 21 years of age and possesses an Alaska driver's license issued on or after October 21, 2008 must pass an alcohol awareness test.

(b) An applicant who is 21 years of age or older obtaining a first Alaska driver's license or who possesses an Alaska driver's license issued before October 21, 2008 is not required to pass the alcohol awareness test.
