21 AAC 25.030 - Anonymous complaints

The ombudsman will decline to investigate an anonymous complaint, unless it is accompanied by specific, credible information that the ombudsman reasonably believes can be corroborated and that would justify investigation upon the ombudsman's own motion. The ombudsman may refer an anonymous complaint accompanied by specific, credible infonnation to the chief executive officer of the affected agency, the district attorney, or law enforcement.
